We appreciate your interest and would love for you to further explore our community. Please follow these steps for enrollment:
Step 1: Research: What is the educational model of an ALC? What exactly is self-directed education? Feel free to peruse our website and enlighten your curiosity by browsing our FAQ and resources page. You’ll find helpful information via links, videos, books, and articles. To ensure your interest aligns with our educational philosophy, getting acquainted with the ins and outs of how our community operates is essential before moving further along our application process.
Step 2: Send us an email: Contact the Director (Include child’s name, age, and any additional info you want us to know.) Email joycem@adastraalc.com
Step 3: Complete an 8 day trial period: Once your application has been accepted, we will contact you to schedule a trial period. This is a time for everyone to get to know each other and determine if we’re a good match. The first day is free. If you would like to continue, the remaining 7 days will be $250.
Step 4: Family Interview & Final Enrollment: If both Ad Astra ALC and your family are feeling aligned after completing the trial period, the admissions committee will make the final decision on enrollment. If accepted, you will be contacted with information about how to complete your enrollment agreement and pay your deposit.
